With over 12 million visitors each year Disneyland Resort Paris is Europe's biggest visitor attraction.

The resort is just a forty minute train ride from the centre of Paris and easily accessible from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, so a visit here should definitely be on your itinerary.

We did it all, almost. We took in the stunt show at the Disney Village, then a little bit further on and we were exploring the campsites and cabins at the Davy Crockett Ranch.

Not stopping for breath, it was on to see Adventureland with it's jungle sets, the wild west theme of Frontierland, and space age technology in Discoveryland. It just goes on and on.

I was surprised with how much there is to do. In each themed area we found lots of attractions, rides, shops and restaurants. Eating can range from fast food stands to full service French restaurants, and if you're lucky enough to have any money left, you will be tantalisingly tempted by one of Europe's largest shopping centres.

I'm not much of a shopper, so I did the eating and Rose did the shopping. (This is a good arrangement guys). Phew! What a day! After you've done all that, you could be forgiven if you fall asleep in the nightclub. I almost did. (Well, I am at that age).

Disneyland Paris is the ultimate European experience and will keep the whole family amused with so much fantasy and thrilling entertainment.
