Yes, Paris, city of lights, majestic by day and captivating at night, was full of surprises and did not let me down. Romance Was in The Air : We had freshly brewed coffee and croissants for breakfast, then a stroll taking in the many historic buildings and museums, and faced with a multitude of options for lunch, I was in my element. Absolutely perfect! Then it was up the Eiffel Tower, another one of the things you must do when in Paris. We went 300 metres to the top for a fantastic view of the city, and I have to say it is reasonably priced for one of the more popular Paris Attractions. Boy, it was romantic. I tell you, if a Paris vacation does not bring out the romantic side of you, then I would have to advise you to see a doctor immediately. Not Cheap But Good Value For Money : Of course, a Paris vacation can be a bit pricey, but if you are a romantic type like me, then every now and then you will feel the need to splash out and spoil yourself with no regrets. Paris is worth every penny. Paris got the reputation "city of lights" because at night the city is aglow with a million fairy lights which add to the warmth of the place. Find one where the locals eat and you will find good value for money. I wasn't brave enough to try snails or frogs legs, but the food I had was good. The fruit ice cream at Raimo, on the Boulevard de Reuilly is probably the best I've tasted. Your Paris vacation will give you an exquisite shopping experience on Main Street, where you will find all of the top designer labels and a range of fabulous boutiques to browse in. (Rose is an expert shopper) You Must Visit Disneyland Paris : For children (and adults) there is the magical Disneyland Paris, easily reached by bus from both Charles De Gaulle and Orly airports. We had a great time there with the big kid in me coming to the surface, and Rose giving me some funny looks. Much to my surprise, I finally managed to drag myself away, only to almost nod off in the nightclub. If in Paris, you should take advantage of the many Paris Tours that are available for seeing the sights and attractions, starting from just £9. Would I go back? Yes I most definitely would, but there is so much more Here's some good offers - Eiffel Tower Dinner, Moulin Rouge Show, Seine Cruise. Book from over 140 products at Isango.com and Save up to 10%

More about Paris : Our visit to Disneyland Paris was the icing on the cake. Ideally you should allow a few days here to see everything.
